When we talk about currency, we’re often talking about money. But money is just one of the 3 Earthly currencies, along with time and effort. The most valuable resource we have, however, is our thinking. I could even go so far as to say that it is the only resource, considering that money, time, and effort all result from imagination. Through our mind’s thinking, we have the ability to completely turn our lives around. Let’s explore the Earthly currencies and the power of our minds…
Money! Oh, money: greatly desired and greatly despised (though most would outwardly say otherwise). Despite the allure of money, it is ultimately an external reflection of value. What this means is that, if money isn’t physically present in one’s life, as they embody value (expand Consciousness by being of service to others through expressing their soul’s desires), money flows into their life. You are called to share your unique self with the world and allow yourself to receive money for this unique value you bring to others. Give value, get value.
Although money may seem scarce and harder to obtain than time and effort, they are all actually equal in the sense that they all stem from the same Source: God. Time and effort only seem readily available to us to tap into compared to money due to the stigma that surrounds money itself. In addition, most of us take time for granted, spending it and not investing it. We may be taking the effort we are able to put out for granted too, but those of us who have experienced or are experiencing physical or mental “limitations” have learned to deeply appreciate (albeit it the hard way).
This word, “limitations”, brings this to mind: there is only a certain amount of money circulating at any given moment, we are only on Earth for a set amount of time, and we may currently have physical or mental constraints that stump the effort we can put out. All of the 3 Earthly currencies could be considered “limited”. But let’s not forget that, in essence, we are pure, unconditioned Consciousness, occupying our Earthly vessels to experience physical reality.
Does this mean that we must live limited lives? No! Rules are meant to be broken ;) We are invited to change the narrative, no matter what our environment may be indicating, if we so want to—blessings don’t have to be the exception.
The nature of life is paradoxical, and this is not excluded from paradox. Despite these apparent Earthly “limitations”, God doesn’t ask us to consider these when we pray; rather, He asks us to assume what we want as fact. Here is where our ultimate currency, the one that surpasses the Earthly plane, comes into play: the mind’s thinking, the resource that has direct access to Source.
God has bestowed upon us His imaginative faculty and, although keyed low in this Earthly plane, it is capable of bringing about our desires in miraculous ways. We need not figure out the when or the how: you propose, God provides. You assume (conviction-intention) the fulfillment of your desires in imagination, and God, in His infinite wisdom, lays out the bridge of incidents in the physical world, leading to the complete tangibilization of that which was once only imagined.
Once you have assumed, don’t hesitate to follow inspired action and invest your Earthly currencies in alignment with your desired reality. Scary? Yes, it certainly can be (especially in regards to money). But as trust in God builds confidence in yourself, both this trust and this confidence serve to show you that physical reality is not as fixed as it appears to be (it’s malleable!). Shed the limiting beliefs of how you “don’t have enough”, and allow yourself to surrender to experiencing a new reality.
And no, I’m not telling you to go craaazy with this (well, maybe a little crazy 😊), such as getting in monetary debt, skipping sleep, and grinding until you burn yourself out. What I am telling you is to follow the promptings of your subconscious: invest a few more dollars on groceries for a healthy and balanced meal prep (your return on investment is increased well-being), replace spending time mindlessly scrolling on your phone with investing time in listening to an inspirational audiobook, and put your whole soul into producing the content that you want to share with others.
In the physical world, the actions that give you the most value in return are the ones guided by your intuition. And these actions are relative! The above is an example of progressive, “softer” actions one may be prompted to take after assuming they are all-around prosperous. Maybe for someone occupying a different point in Consciousness, taking sharper, “bolder” steps is what they’re called to do, like making a $2000+ payment for a soulful retreat, or committing to their dream career by studying in their chosen university. It won’t be the same across individuals, even if at face value the desire is the same. Success, for example, is defined differently by different people, and its definition may even vary for each person. The means to achieving success are also unique to each, the perfect placement of circumstances (synchronicities!) being determined by God.
Don’t compare yourself to others and follow your own divine guidance, listen to it! What is it telling you the next steps are? All of this to say that if you physically “don’t have money” (you do, though, because abundance is all around you; remember assumption and conviction-intention!), you still have time; if your schedule is crowded, effort is where it’s at. If, right now, none of these seem feasible currencies to invest in your desires, keep in mind that these are the Earthly currencies, operating within the physical—but the mental is always there for you. There are no excuses NOT to take responsibility over your thinking, from where the 3 Earthly currencies are made available to you in the first place.
Take action: think as your desired identity (thinking is a conscious action!), so that you feel and behave accordingly. Things start falling into place when you embody your desired identity, and you may be surprised when “unchangeable” circumstances suddenly change—I live this, and I know I’m not the only one who lives this.
Although I emphasize the mental reality (I am a mindset coach, after all), I am not here to tell you to “transcend” the physical, but to have fun experiencing it! We are expressing ourselves through these human bodies, after all. Be curious, explore, experiment—and expand Consciousness while at it.
